FAQs
Here are some of the most common question that we think you want to know the answer to. If there are any more or have anything else we have not answered then please do get in touch and we will endeavour to answer these for you.
Where are you based? – I am based in Torbay, Devon
Where can you find me? - I run a home-based styling company, crafting your vision in a bespoke workshop. This allows me to keep costs low and offer competitive pricing. You can also explore samples of my chair and centrepiece styling at The Livermead Cliff Hotel and The Grand Hotel in Torquay during their Wedding Open Days throughout the year.
How do we contact you? – Either by email, mobile phone, or text message. I aim to reply to all messages by the next working day. You can also find details on my socials: Facebook and Instagram and send me a message this way if you prefer.
How do we know we will like what you offer? – During our meet-and-greet service, you’ll have the opportunity to share your vision for your wedding day. I take into account your ideas and color palettes, offering styling suggestions if you’re feeling a little overwhelmed. You’ll also have access to a collection of photos showcasing weddings I’ve previously styled. Once I understand your preferred style and colors, I create a mock-up and send you photos. At this stage, you’re free to make any changes. Once you’re satisfied with the styling mock-up and give me the go-ahead, a holding fee is required to secure your date
How soon do I need to secure your services? – As soon as you have booked your venue give me a call. Dates book up soon especially in the spring and summer when it is very busy, and availability is limited. The earlier you book the better the availability.
How much do you charge? – This is dependent on the items you hire. If you have a limited budget, I work with you to showcase the best products I can offer at a price you can afford. Most items are bespoke so I can tailor a package to suit most couple budgets. However if budget is limited take a look at some of the packages I have put together.
Can I hire items to DIY? - There is also the option to hire a few items that you can DIY yourself at your chosen venue. If you choose to DIY, the items you hire must be collected and returned to company address by hirer. Please only choose this option if you are confident in styling your venue yourself.
Do you need a deposit? – A £100 holding fee is required to secure your day. The remaining balance is due 60 days before your wedding date.
Can we add to our order? – Yes, you can as long as Ti Amo Weddings are notified 8 weeks before your wedding date.
Are we able to amend our order – Yes, you can. You can swap and change things around if needed for items of equal or greater value. Please bear in mind if items to be swapped are of a greater value than originally quoted you will be required to pay the difference. This is only possible 8 weeks before the remaining balance is due.
Can we amend our final numbers if we need to? – You can provide me with a final number 5 days before your wedding day. 14 days’ notice are required if using fresh flowers. installations
When do you need the final payment? – An initial payment is required to secure your date and cover potential breakages. The remaining balance must be paid in full 60 days before your wedding. Once this payment is received, no further amendments will be accepted. Failure to make the final payment will result in the wedding décor not being provided.
Can I have fresh flowers? – Yes, fresh flowers are an option, but keep in mind that they are significantly more expensive than faux flowers. Additionally, seasonal availability plays a crucial role, as some flowers may be pricier when out of season. If your ceremony is outdoors, fresh flowers can wilt quickly in hot weather unless properly hydrated. To ensure a beautiful arrangement, you may need to substitute certain flowers with similar alternatives, depending on seasonal availability.
What faux flowers and foliage do you use? – I use high quality silk flowers from a reputable wholesaler. My fresh flowers come from two reputable wholesalers based in Devon and are picked fresh a few days before your wedding, so that the flowers have time to open before your wedding day.
Can I mix fresh and faux flowers? – You could do, depending on the type of flowers and style you require, however it would be best to choose either fresh or faux, so the colours and styles complement each other. However, when using fresh florals and foliage, substitutions with faux alternatives may be necessary if the original items arrive damaged or in an unexpected color. Rest assured, your display will still look stunning and seamlessly integrated, ensuring any adjustments remain discreet. I use a range of different mechanics to style your wedding flowers. Once I know your idea of style and choice of flowers I can advise what would work best.
