FAQs

Here are some of the most common question that we think you want to know the answer to.  If there are any more or have anything else we have not answered then please do get in touch and we will endeavour to answer these for you.  

Where are you based? – I am based in Torbay, Devon

 

How do we find you? – I am a home-based styling company and create your vision in a bespoke workshop.  This way I can keep the overheads down and can offer competitive prices.  You can also find samples of my chair and centrepiece styling at The Imperial Hotel, Torquay and The Livermead Cliff Hotel , Torquay at their Wedding Open Days throughout the year.

How do we contact you? – Either by email, mobile phone, or text message.  I aim to reply to all messages by the next working day.  You can also find details on my socials: Facebook and Instagram and send me a message this way if you prefer.

 

How do we know we will like what you offer? – During our meet and greet service you can discuss your wedding day and how you envisage it will look. I consider ideas and colour pallets and provide suggestions on styling if you feel a little overwhelmed.  There are lots of photos for you to look at of weddings I have previously styled.  Once I have an idea of your style and colour, I create a mock up and send you photos.  You can change anything at this point.  Once you are happy with the styling mock up and instruct me, I require a holding fee to secure your day.

How soon do I need to secure your services? – As soon as you have booked your venue give me a call. Dates book up soon especially in the spring and summer when it is very busy, and availability is limited.  The earlier you book the better the availability. 

 

How much do you charge? – This is dependent on the items you hire.  If you have a limited budget, I work with you to showcase the best products I can offer at a price you can afford.  Most items are bespoke so I can tailor a package to suit most couple budgets.  However if budget is limited take a look at some of the packages I have put together.  There is also the option to hire a few items that you can hire and DIY yourself at your chosen venue.

 

Do you need a deposit? – A £100 holding fee is required to secure your day.  The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before your wedding date.  

 

Can we add to our order? – Yes, you can as long as Ti Amo Weddings are notified 8 weeks before your wedding date.  

 

Are we able to amend our order – Yes, you can.  You can swap and change things around if needed for items of equal or greater value.  Please bear in mind if items to be swapped are of a greater value than originally quoted you will be required to pay the difference.  This is only possible 8 weeks before the remaining balance is due.

 

Can we amend our final numbers if we need to? – You can provide me with a final number 5 days before your wedding day.  10 days’ notice are required if using fresh flowers. installations

 

When do you need the final payment? – I ask for an initial payment to secure you day and for breakages.  I require the remainder of the final balance 60 days before your wedding date.  Once this payment is received no amendments will be accepted.  

 

Can I have fresh flowers? – Yes, you can, they are more expensive than faux flowers, and you need to bear in mind the seasons as some flowers will be more expensive than others out of season.

 

What faux flowers and foliage do you use? – I use high quality silk flowers from a reputable wholesaler.

 

Can I mix fresh and faux flowers? – You could do, depending on the type of flowers and style you require, however it would be best to choose either fresh or faux, so the colours and styles complement each other. I use a range of different mechanics to style your wedding flowers, and each may not be compatible to have fresh flowers and faux flowers mixed.  Once I know your idea of style and choice of flowers I can advise what would work best.
